Finally...a NEW car!!

Sven had promised me that if I was rescinded we would go car shopping! My van is about 11 years old and definitely showing it. I was very excited. We did some research and narrowed our choices to 4. After test driving them all we decided on the Buick Enclave. Who would've thought we'd ever own a Buick?? I remember one that my grandparents owned. This is really nice and can seat 8!

Garden Party

Tab wanted to plant a garden for the summer. Since our backyard is CONCRETE we didn't have many options. We borrowed some large pots from my mom and away she planted. These are the flowers from the cucumber plant. Not sure what will happen next...

Her snap peas are doing very well. We have enjoyed many a snap this summer.

Lake Arrowhead

We spent a great couple of days at our friend's house in Lake Arrowhead. What a beautiful place! The lake was full of water, no sign of a drought, and there were very few people, which was even better.

Laundry Room Remodel

I have hated my laundry room set up forever! The space is nice but the shelves were a nightmare. They were open and stuff would fall off of it. Steve and I finally decided to rip it out and put in some cabinets. (Unfortunately I forgot to take pics of the before)

I love the after! So much storage and it's hidden :)

San Diego Fair

We went to the San Diego Fair for the day. The kids were free and adults were $3 each. Can't beat that!

The kids enjoyed some shaved ice.

And the animals! We learned that our kids need to get around the farm a bit more often!

End of the School year

We finished out the school year! No longer do we have any elementary school babies. Tab is off to middle school to join Jake. Kel and Amanda are seniors (boy that makes me feel old!). My last week at TTES the staff played softball against the 5th graders, we got creamed! I will miss my awesome team. I learned so much from them over the last 5 years. Hopefully one day I'll be back with you!
