Yep, my big guy is 11! Jake wasn't sure what he wanted for his birthday. No upcoming game releases or movies. Steve surprised him by taking him to BIG 5 and getting and Airsoft gun.
Jake was SHOCKED! We have been telling him no since his friend down the street got one last year. He has been taking target practice out back all day. Now he's ready for a war. Grandpa thought maybe he could use it on the dog.....maybe not.
That's not where the celebrations ended today:
In March Kelsey took the CAHSEE (high school exit exam). Today the results came in the mail and she PASSED! Yeah! She was very excited.
Last, but not least, we ended the day at Amanda's spring concert. There were a couple of fabulous singers. Some of the others made me feel as if I was at an American Idol audition. I kept thinking, what would Simon say....
This was a celebration because as of right now she is not planning on joining choir next year.Sorry, no celebrations for Tabby today, unless you count reading a book for the 15th time.

CONGRATS to Kel...that's quite an accomplishment for her.
Bet Amanda is glad this year is over for Choir. I know you enjoyed hearing all the upcoming singers.
